Playing in the waves, digging in the sand, breathing the soft salt air. Time for eating seafood, watching movies, and many <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">listenings</span> of the new Green Day CD bought for the trip. And plenty of time to think. One of the things occupying my mind was the fate of this blog. There were a couple of aspects I needed to consider, but the most problematic was the issue of gaining local notice. Even after changing URLs and removing local identifiers, I still find myself being brought to the attention of local folks, much to my dismay. Even my appeals for privacy were ineffective, and I have become increasingly worried about who in the area might stumble on my blog. As a psychologist, privacy <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">isn</span>’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.<br /><br />For those of you who have commented, supported me, and been part of this amazing community, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has meant the world to me. I can still be reached through the email in my banner above. But it seems blogging has outlived its usefulness and causes more problems in my life now than are worth it to me.
